“I came to Florence in 1952 when I was a 7th grader. I have always enjoyed working with wood. I seem to be fascinated by the amazing color variations there are in wood and the unique structure that there is from one kind to another.” “It’s fun for me to look at a piece of wood and then imagine what might be hidden inside. As I begin to work with that piece and watch it “come alive” I get excited to see the finished product. I never thought of myself as an artist, but I guess in some respects, that’s what I am.” “I thank God for the talent and ability he has given me and it’s my joy to share my creations with you!” Lynn taught wood and metal shop at Siuslaw High School for 35 years.
