Pamela Vosseller - Watercolor

In 1992 I found myself asking "Who am I?" and "What am I doing here?" with fourteen years in law-enforcement, ten years in the medical field, one marriage, and four homes later, I discovered seven answers:

  1. Know the desires of my heart.

  2. Know what stirs my passion.

  3. Know what flows naturally with my gifts and talents.

  4. Give 100%.

  5. Seek counsel.

  6. Listen to that inner witness - for me the spirit of Yahweh.

  7. And know what produces good results: "If I'm on a dead horse, get off and find another horse!"

From 1974 to 1996 I studied drawing, drafting, and pastels. It was in the summer of 1996 that I tried my hand at watercolors. Painting with guidance from Nancy Phelps of Santa Barbara County, California, and Susan Weathers of Florence, Oregon, I have learned that water is your friend even when it's trying to be your enemy. I currently have several art displays in private collections in the Northwest and Southwest states, and am a regular member of The River Gallery in Old Town Florence.
